Absolutely! It is our pleasure to work with new patients to help them achieve excellent dental health. We treat all our patients like family, and we think you’ll be very pleased with our exceptional attention to your very specific dental needs.
We know that sometimes it can be a real challenge to fit dental appointments into your already busy schedule. The professional teams at our Pembroke dental offices are happy to accept walk-in patients every morning from opening until 9:30 AM and in the afternoons after the lunch hour until 2:30 PM.
We understand that occasionally you may suddenly find that you have an opening in your schedule but don’t have enough notice to schedule an appointment in advance. We want to make quality dental care as accessible as possible, so we make it a point to keep our schedule flexible during those hours for your convenience.
But it is also important to maintain a regular schedule of appointments for routine treatments like dental cleanings. We are more than happy to book your appointments far enough in advance to allow you plenty of time to fit these times into your schedule.
At Collins and Lowery DDS, helping you maintain excellent oral health is our top priority. We want you to feel confident knowing that quality dental care is readily available, but you are also welcome to contact one of our offices to arrange an appointment time that works best for you. We look forward to hearing from you!
It can be pretty nerve-wracking to have a dental emergency and not know when you will be able to get in to see your dentist. However, you can put your mind at rest because, at Collins and Lowery DDS, we will do our very best to fit you into our schedule the same day.
It always seems to be the case that dental emergencies happen at the most inconvenient times. There are certain emergencies that can safely be put off for a day or two, and you are always welcome to contact us so we can assess your situation to see if immediate treatment is necessary.
But there are most definitely times when you need to be seen right away. If you are in severe pain or you’ve had a tooth knocked out, there is no doubt that you need to be seen quickly. Severe pain indicates that a very serious problem is developing; if your tooth gets knocked out, getting immediate treatment increases the odds of saving the tooth.
The best advice we can give you is to call one of our Pembroke dental offices immediately if you are unsure if your problem is an emergency. If so, we will get you in as quickly as possible; if not, we will put you on our schedule for the next available opening.
We are happy to treat children of all ages. The professional teams at our Pembroke dental offices know how to accommodate our youngest patients and are in tune with their unique needs.
It’s critical that kids have a positive experience when visiting the dentist. Too many adults still carry the burden of dental anxiety that started with a bad experience as a child. With proper care and consideration for their needs, your child can grow up with a healthy, positive attitude about their oral health care.
We recommend that your child have their first professional cleaning by the age of two. During these cleanings, we can ensure that their teeth are developing properly and there are no problems we need to address.
Early childhood visits are also important because they help us establish a basis for future treatment. The information we gather during these visits will help us to develop a long-term treatment plan for your child to ensure excellent oral health as they get older.
You can be sure that your child will be treated with gentle care and understanding when they visit our Pembroke dental offices. Please contact us to arrange a convenient appointment for your child’s first visit.
We’ve seen some pretty amazing whitening products, but nothing compares to the level of whitening we can achieve with KöR professional teeth whitening. You will see results after only two weeks of at-home whitening treatment. This is quite remarkable when you consider that KöR teeth whitening is permanent.
The whole process from start to finish is very simple and straightforward. First, you will visit one of our Pembroke dental offices, where we will make custom whitening trays. You take the whitening trays home and wear them every night for two weeks while you sleep.
You will see progress every day, and most people achieve the desired results at the end of the two-week treatment period. If your teeth are particularly resistant to whitening, we may recommend additional nights of whitening.
After at-home whitening, you will return to our office and receive one final whitening treatment. Maintaining the results of whitening is easy – simply wear the trays one night a month.
KöR is a revolutionary whitening treatment that is considered to be the most effective available today. If you’d like to learn more about KöR and how it can help you achieve a stunning, white smile, please contact one of our Pembroke dental offices.
At Collins and Lowery DDS, we believe that financial considerations should never get in the way of receiving the dental care you need to keep your teeth healthy.
If you're interested in financing the cost of your dental treatment, we can help you apply for CareCredit, a healthcare credit card that can also be used for certain other medical treatments. If you're faculty or a student at UNCP, we are happy to offer a 10% discount with valid ID.
We are always happy to talk to you about the ways that we can make dental care accessible. Please don't hesitate to contact our office if you have questions.

One of the significant advantages of Invisalign clear braces is the fact that they are removable for eating, brushing, and flossing. But obviously they can’t do their job unless you’re actually wearing them.
The dentists at Collins and Lowery DDS are certified Invisalign providers, and we can tell you that you need to wear your Invisalign aligner trays no fewer than 22 hours per day. This is necessary because your teeth are always moving ever so slightly. Even a few hours without the trays in your mouth can start to undo the results you’ve achieved.
Invisalign clear braces are popular because they are comfortable, removable, and virtually invisible. In fact, Invisalign looks and feels so great that it’s easy to forget that they have to do a lot of work to achieve a perfectly aligned smile. But you need to remember that Invisalign aligners are a serious orthodontic treatment system.
When you change to a new set of aligners after two weeks, you will notice that they feel uncomfortable at first. That is because after just two weeks, your teeth have moved enough that you can actually see and feel the difference.
Choosing Invisalign treatment is a big commitment, but the reward is in the fantastic results that you’ll see when it’s all finished. Please contact our Pembroke dental offices for more information about Invisalign clear braces.
